Galician Chicken Pie
Ingredients
500 grams of Flour
50 grams of Fresh Yeast
3 tablespoons of Salt
2 tablespoons of Sugar
½ cup of Oil
1 cup of Milk
1 kilogram of Boneless Chicken
3 Onions
4 Bell Peppers
2 Garlic Cloves
2 tablespoons of Sweet Paprika
1 Egg
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this delicious pie, first preheat the oven to 180°C.
Step 2 : In a bowl, combine warm milk, fresh yeast, sugar, and oil; dissolve. Then add the flour and salt, kneading until a smooth dough forms.
Step 3 : Cover the dough and let it rest until it doubles in size.
Step 4 : While the dough rests, heat oil in a skillet and fry the chicken. Then add onions, bell peppers, garlic, and paprika.
Step 5 : Once the dough has doubled, divide it into two parts.
Step 6 : Knead one part to form the base of the pie.
Step 7 : Spread the warm filling over the base dough.
Step 8 : Next, roll out the other part of the dough and place it over the filling to cover the pie.
