Ingredients

300 grams of Desalinated lacón

1 Bundle of grelos

2 Chorizos

4 Potatoes

1 pinch of Salt

Olive oil

Pimentón de la Vera

Preparation

Step 1 : The desalinated lacón should be placed in a pot with water and simmered over low heat for about an hour.

Step 2 : Meanwhile, the grelos are carefully washed and cleaned to remove any impurities.

Step 3 : After that time, in another large pot, add the potatoes, chorizos, and lacón along with their cooking water, and cook for about 15 minutes.

Step 4 : Then, add the grelos to the pot and continue cooking together for about 30 minutes, adjusting the time if necessary depending on the size of the potatoes.

Step 5 : Just before serving, salt can be added to the potatoes and grelos to taste, along with a drizzle of olive oil.

Step 6 : For an extra touch, you may optionally add Pimentón de la Vera, which will impart a smoky and delicious flavor.
