Patatas Bravas
Ingredients

1 kilogram of Potatoes for frying
Oil for frying
2 tablespoons of Sweet paprika from La Vera
1 tablespoon of Spicy paprika from La Vera
1 tablespoon of Flour
200 milliliters of Beef broth
4 tablespoons of Extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon of Salt
Preparation
Step 1 : Peel, wash, drain, and thoroughly dry the potatoes, then cut them into rough cubes about 5 cm thick.
Step 2 : Pour plenty of olive oil into a large saucepan and place the potatoes in cold oil, cooking them over medium heat and low flame for 15 minutes until tender.
Step 3 : While the potatoes cool, prepare the brava sauce in a skillet by adding oil, sweet paprika, and spicy paprika, mixing to prevent burning.
Step 4 : Add cornmeal to the sauce and keep stirring over low heat until a thick paste forms.
Step 5 : Add half of the beef broth, stir well, and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, seasoning with salt.
Step 6 : Pour in the remaining broth and cook for an additional 10 minutes until the sauce reaches the desired consistency, then turn off the heat and let rest.
Step 7 : Heat plenty of oil in a large skillet, and when very hot, fry the potatoes in batches for about 10 minutes until golden and crispy.
Step 8 : Remove the potatoes and place them on paper towels to remove excess oil, then arrange them on a nice dish.
Step 9 : Finally, cover the potatoes with hot brava sauce and serve immediately to enjoy their unique texture and flavor.
