Homemade Bunyuelos
Ingredients

150 grams of Flour
¼ cup of Water
½ cup of Milk
50 grams of Butter
2 Eggs
1 tablespoon of Yeast-based dough
1 pinch of Salt
2 cups of Sunflower oil
50 grams of Sugar for sprinkling at the end
Preparation
Step 1 : In a pot, place the butter, milk, and water, and heat until boiling.
Step 2 : Once boiling, add the flour, salt, and yeast, mixing everything with a wooden spoon.
Step 3 : Then, remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
Step 4 : Add the eggs one by one, mixing slowly until all ingredients are integrated.
Step 5 : In another pot, heat the oil over high heat.
Step 6 : With the help of two spoons, shape the mixture into small rounds and fry until golden.
Step 7 : Remove the bunyuelos from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Step 8 : While still warm, roll them in sugar.
Step 9 : Serve the bunyuelos warm.
